ABB and the E-Class Equation (the “electric equation”) have announced a landmark partnership aimed at shaping the future of electric mobility. Since its inaugural season in Beijing in September 2014, the Formula E Championship has grown to become the premier global event for all-electric cars. This collaboration marks a new milestone, bringing the championship into an exciting new era. ABB will supply cutting-edge technology for the event and serve as the title sponsor for the “ABB International Auto Union E-Class Formula Tournament.”

About the ABB FIA Formula E Championship
The ABB FIA Formula E Championship is the world’s first all-electric single-seater racing series, created by the International Automobile Federation (FIA). The championship takes place on city circuits, often passing through iconic local landmarks. Cities such as New York, Hong Kong, Paris, and Zurich have hosted thrilling electric car races. In the fourth season, 20 drivers from 10 teams will compete across 11 cities on five continents, culminating in the Tour Finals in July. The next race will be held in Marrakech, Morocco, on January 13th.
